Cameron Hui is Founder and Managing Partner at Ichthus Capital Partners. Cameron is responsible for all investment activities at Ichthus Capital Partners and sets the strategic direction of the firm. In his career, Cameron has executed transactions representing over $1 billion of cumulative capital across a wide range of investment structures. Before founding Ichthus Capital Partners, Cameron served on the investment team at CRG, a private credit fund based in New York with over $3 billion of assets under management. Prior to CRG, Cameron was a member of the healthcare investment banking group at Stifel Nicolaus Weisel and its predecessor firm Thomas Weisel Partners. Cameron graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Dr. Paul Billings, M.D., Ph.D.
Strategic Advisor
Dr. Paul Billings joined Ichthus Capital Partners as a strategic advisor in 2019 and assists the fund in due diligence activities for healthcare-related opportunities. Dr. Billings is a board-certified internist and clinical geneticist with more than 30 years of experience in genomics and molecular medicine. He has held academic and research appointments at Harvard University, UC San Francisco, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley. Currently, Dr. Billings serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice-President of Medical Affairs at Natera (NASDAQ: NTRA). Prior to joining Natera, Dr. Billings held roles as Chief Medical Officer of Life Technologies, Inc., consulting Chief Medical Officer of the Genetic Sciences Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific, and Senior Vice President and Senior Physician at Laboratory Corporation of America Holdings. He has served on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Food and Drug Administration, the Genomic Medicine Advisory Committee at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the HHS Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Genomics, Health and Society.
